Spontaneity, the name of the game this past weekend.
Well, not really.
By normal standards spontaneity means a big change occurs in your plans, so our little detour onto a boat cruise wouldn’t be a dazzling change since we had nothing to do anyways. However, we didn’t plan it and it happened. Voila! Spontaneity in my book.
This past weekend launched Windsor’s festival season; namely the opening of the month-long Carousel of Nations. In its first weekend it’s held at the riverfront where you sample various foods from around the world while listening to live music (this year was Motown, how fitting!). After a German sausage and an extremely sad excused for a Belgian waffle plate (still bummed about that) we decided to hop on the riverboat cruise conveniently docked right by the exit. With nothing else to do and admission a whopping $13 we said yes! (insert spontaneity [here]).
